Managing a Creative Environment

Here is an example of an illustrators work space containing a large collection of photos mainly consisting of different types of typography as well as a wide range of colour paints. I think this is a good example of a creative workspace to help generate the flow of ideas, where as you are surrounded with material that could lead to many types of outcome, weather it being combination between two images as well as the use of backgrounds behind text.  The use of media is spread out well and easily accessible, so if an idea does come to mind you can act on it quickly rather than worrying about finding the tool best appropriate for your idea.

Here is an example of a Disney Pixar studio, which clearly radiates a sense of passion.  I believe that the greater the collection of resources will have a greater influence on future work to come. It seems to be a lot more productive, creative and happy work space containing a playful environment rather than in a grey boring one. The physical workspace is one of the most ignored, yet most important factors in creating good workplaces. Constant change within the office would only contribute by producing fresh newer ideas which may relate better to the forever changing world we live in.
